Rare Ancient Two Eye dZi Bead. A genuine ancient dZi bead with two eyes. This dark coloured bead has a lovely while and black coloured lines. The surface and ends are polished smooth from rubbing against the skin and other beads for many centuries. Origin: Private Collection – Sourced in North India in the early 1970s. Size 25 mm x 10mm. Condition: Mostly very good. There is a dig at one of the ends that has been polished smooth from centuries of being worn on the body. With minor surface blemishes which is to be expected from a 2000 year old (+ or -) bead. There are no breaks or repairs. Any lines seen on the surface are the natural crystalline banding in the stone (not cracks). There are also one or two spots of old grime on the surface as this is how it was acquired in the 1970s.
